Description

Brownies with a moist chewy texture. Every bite is filled with rich, chocolaty crunch. Dust with powder sugar to create a dark on light appeal. Serve after dinner to satisfy everyone’s sweet-tooth.

Ingredients

  • 120 grams walnuts
  • 250 grams dark chocolate
  • 250 grams softened butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 380 grams sugar
  • 150 grams flour

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the nuts on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Turn off the oven and let the nuts cool down.
  6. Once they are cold, rub them in your hands to remove most of the skin.Set aside.
  7. In a saucepan over low heat melt the chocolate and the butter.
  8. In a medium bowl, combine eggs and sugar.
  9. Whisk until the mixture is pale.
  10. Add the flour.
  11. Then stir in the nuts and the butter/melted chocolate mixture.
  12. Transfer into a 20X30 pan or baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  13. Bake for 25 minutes, do not overcook.
