Ingredients

  • 4 pears (peeled, halved and cored)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons promise buttery spread
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups yogurt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Arrange pears in large roasting pan, cut-side down. Sprinkle with lemon juice, then sugar; drizzle with melted Promise® Buttery Spread. Roast 30 minutes or until tender. Remove pears from pan; set aside and keep warm.
  3. Place roasting pan over heat and with wire whisk, blend in water and vanilla. Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens slightly and turns caramel color. Serve sauce over warm pears with frozen yogurt.
