This is a great recipe but unnecessarily lazy. It doesn't need to be made like we still lived in the factory-is-best 1950s. I used pressed fresh garlic instead of powder. (I used two large cloves for the recipe.) It's a stronger garlic taste with fresh, but if you're making this recipe you already like garlic. I also used parchment paper instead of tin foil--who still uses tin foil as a pan liner?!--and splurged on washing an extra bowl instead of trying to coat the beans on the flat pan.

Very yummy. My husband, who isn’t a veggie fan said before even the first bite, that this looked tasty. This is such an easy side dish. I was able to put it in the oven while the rest of my dinner items cooked. I would recommend maybe increasing the cook time slightly though, to really crisp up the green beans.
