  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic)
  • 2 teaspoons rosemary (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic, crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (McCormick Gourmet™ Sicilian)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic, Coarse Ground)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place hens on rack in shallow roasting pan. Brush with oil
    2. Mix paprika, rosemary, garlic powder, sea salt, thyme and pepper in small bowl. Rub evenly over entire surface of hens
    3. Roast 1 to 1 1/4 hours until hens are cooked through

    It was delicious. I also stuffed the hen with lemons

    It turned out amazing. Using convection mode on my oven allowed it to cook faster than 1.5 hour. Great flavor!!!!

    Bursting with flavor! Even my picky eater son liked it, and that's saying a LOT. I agree with Roland, though. An hour and fifteen minutes isn't nearly long enough in a 350º oven.

    I had to put it back in the oven twice because it was still pink inside, but good flavor.
