Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 orange

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
  2. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Slice the orange in half and remove the seeds. Use a knife to separate the skin from the pulp, and make incisions to separate the wedges.
  4. Place the orange halves pulp side up on a baking tray.

This recipe is similar to the one for baked oranges. Orange slices done this way make great garnishes that are really unique. They also taste nice served on the side of chicken salad. I can't wait to make more of them.
