Description

Marinated for a couple hours in a red wine honey and mustard marinade, these pork spareribs are then slow roasted to perfection. Sweet and spicy with a citrusy tang, these pork spareribs make a great dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pork spareribs (rack)
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons red wine
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 bay leaves
  • parsley
  • 1 teaspoon pepper (bonnet)
  • salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Place the ribs in a baking tray. Season with salt, lemon juice, and red wine.
  2. Then, prepare the sauce for the seasoning. In a bowl, add all the remaining ingredients, and mix them well. Let stand at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  4. Place the ribs in the oven, and let brown.
  5. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with part of the seasoning sauce, and flip the ribs. Put back in the oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven again, flip the ribs again, and sprinkle with the remaining sauce.
  7. Roast until golden and crispy.
