Rice Pudding with CardamomAnanás e Hortelã
- 1 2/5 liters low-fat milk
- 1 cinnamon sticks
- 300 grams Carolino rice
- 8 cardamom pods
- 75 grams sugar
- honey (to taste)
- 80 grams raisins
- 50 grams sliced almonds
- 1Place the milk and cinnamon stick in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the rice and stif constantly. Simmer over low heat and continue stirring for about 30 minutes, or until cooked.
- 2In a mortar, crush the cardamom pods and remove the seeds. Add the seeds to the sugar.
- 3Add raisins, almonds, sugar and cardamom, and 2 tablespoons of honey to taste. Let boil for about 5 to 10 minutes over low heat, adding milk if it starts to dry out.
