  • 2 cups white rice
  • 2 cups cooked meat (diced, bacon, ham, chicken, sausage, or whatever sounds good to you)
  • 1 cup carrots (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (fresh grated, or ¼ teaspoon ground ginger, powder)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic (fresh)
  • 6 green onions (divided - the whites are diced and cook with the rice, green tops diced and are added later with the scrambled eggs and frozen peas or ½ small onion diced)
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon oil (I use either olive oil or canola oil)
  • 1 teaspoon oil (sesame seed)
  • 4 eggs (scrambled)
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas

Good, prepared it without any meat for a quick summer meal for 3.

It was pretty good but not quite as good as actually frying the rice. Still, it takes almost no time to throw it together so it's a keeper.

It was good but make sure to use sushi rice
