Description

This American dish has the elements of both a rich savory flavor with a sweet after taste. The ribs are nice and juicy and compliment the soft rice. This is a great main coarse for a 4th of July party.

Ingredients

300 grams rib
1 onions (finely diced)
1 garlic cloves (finely diced)
1 green bell pepper (finely diced)
400 grams rice
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
beef stock
saffron (powdered, you can substitute ground turmeric)

Directions

1In a wide, shallow skillet, fry the ribs and then set them aside.
2In the same skillet, saute the finely diced onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
3Add the rice and a tablespoon of paprika.
4Mix well and add the stock. Remember, add 2 parts stock to 1 part water.
5Add a pinch of powdered saffron for a little color.
6Cook 18 minutes on the cooktop or 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius.
