Ingredients

  • 2 slices light rye bread
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 3/4 ounces coleslaw
  • 6 slices pastrami
  • 2 slices swiss cheese
  • dill pickles
  • cornichons

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler on high. Toast bread on one side only for 2 minutes, until golden.
  2. Spread untoasted side with mayonnaise. Top with coleslaw, pastrami and cheese. Place under broiler for 2 minutes, until coleslaw is warm and cheese begins to melt. Serve immediately topped with cornichons or pickles.
