Made with oregano, bay leaves, and your favorite red wine, this seasoned salt is packed with flavor. Use this seasoned salt to add a burst of flavor to your favorite meat before grilling or roasting.
- 200 grams sea salt (depends on how much is desired)
- 2 tablespoons red wine
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 3 bay leaves
- Place 1 tablespoon of wine in a bowl, or deep dish. Put the salt on top, and mix with the wine. The salt crystals immediately begin to brown, so it is easy to check when the wine is well absorbed. Check whether you need to add some more wine.
- For a few days stir occasionally with a spoon, or shake the container so as to dry the wine. When it is dry, mix in the oregano and the bay leaves.
- Store in a sealed container.
