  • 300 milliliters water
  • cherry tomatoes (as needed)
  • basil
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

    Directions

    1. Wash the quinoa under running water to eliminate the bitter exterior. Then soak it in water for several hours and rinse it again under running water.
    2. Bring the water to a boil and cook the quinoa for 10 to 15 minutes.
    3. Cover the pot and let the quinoa rest for 5 minutes.
    4. Once the quinoa has cooled, add the tomatoes cut into quarters and a generous amount of fresh basil.
    5. Season to taste with salt and pepper, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and serve.
