A deliciously moist and tasty cake. Much better than from a box because zero additives and it's easy! I made eight thin layers with peanut butter fudge icing. Yum!

Definitely quick. Definitely delicious. Definitely a keeper! I doubled the recipe to ensure I would have full layers. Also customized by adding two teaspoons of almond extract and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. By the Grace of God, the mistake I made to reduce the salt was not disastrous. I used salted butter, but I hoped the addition of the extracts mitigated the extra salt, and it did! This is a super light cake!

This cake was so easy to make! And the results were amazing. Moist, flavorful, and fluffy. One of the best yellow cakes I’ve ever had.

I used this recipe for pineapple upside down cake. It turned out great. I had to leave it in the oven for 40 minutes and tent it.

added an extra egg, 1/4 cup extra sugar and a splash of milk. was delicious. doesnt even need frosting.

Very delicious cake, could even hold its own without frosting. Simple, classic and could be paired with just about anything. A bit dense, so not ideal if looking for a light, airy cake, but wonderful nonetheless.

This is a solid cake.A good foundation for something like strawberry shortcake.Not too sweet. Depending on your oven baking time may vary by a few mins. My oven seemed too hot so I set it on 345 degrees for 35 mins.

Just how my grandmas used to taste- butttery and just the right amount of sweet without being too sugary. I opted for a Nutella cream cheese frosting to decorate. Will be saving this for future cakes on a whim!
