  • 1 onions (medium, chopped)
  • 1 red pepper (small, chopped)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin (lean, trimmed, ground)
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder (ground)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes (undrained, and)
  • 2 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon red wine
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

    Directions

    1. In a stockpot over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the onion and pepper and saute for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Add the pork and saute for 5 minutes.
    2. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
