A pasta for fish lovers! The strong flavor of anchovies is enhanced by garlic, capers, olives, and peppers. Preparation is easy and takes 40 minutes, but about half of it is in cooking time. This main course is sure to be a hit any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams macaroni
  • 0.5 kilograms tomato puree
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 can anchovies (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • black olives
  • 2 peppers (guindilla, chopped, may substitute red pepper flakes)
  • parsley (minced)
  • oregano (Ground)
  • salt

Directions

  1. Saute the garlic with the parsley and oregano and stir slightly. Add the anchovies with a little of their oil, stir, and add the tomato, olives, pepper, and capers. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Add salt if necessary.
  2. Cook the pasta al dente, following the directions on the package. Drain and serve with the sauce.
