Ingredients

150 grams piloncillo
2/3 tablespoon molasses
1 cup water
1 cinnamon sticks (small)
800 grams pumpkin (coarsely chopped)

Directions

1In a large pot, add the water, piloncillo, and cinnamon.
2Boil until the piloncillo has dissolved, stirring occasionally.
3Add the pumpkin with the pulp facing downward.
4Boil over medium heat until the pumpkin has softened and the syrup has thickened. Be careful not to burn the syrup.
5Serve accompanied by milk.
