Go ahead and pick out a pumpkin, because we have a got a recipe for you. Indulge yourself with this delicious Pumpkin Jam with Almonds. Featuring the warmth of flavors like pumpkin, cardamom, and cinnamon, the addition of orange juice and almonds add another layer of depth and flavor. Instructions for this recipe are intended for a Bimby machine.

Ingredients

  • 800 grams pumpkin (peeled and cut into chunks)
  • 400 grams sugar (for jam, I used Sidul sugar)
  • 80 grams almonds (coarsely grated)
  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. In bimby cup put the pumpkin and sugar.
  2. Grind for a few seconds in spd.7.
  3. Set 40 min./spd.2/100 º.
  4. Add the almonds, pinch of salt, orange juice and zest and ground cinnamon.
  5. Set to another 5 min./spd.reverse spoon/ Varoma, to ascertain the sweetness a little longer.

This 4 star pumpkin jam recipe will be a our choice from here forward. The pumpkin jam tasted like a piece of pumpkin pie compressed into a jar. Adding the crunch from the almonds was a pure delight.
