  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (I used 1/3 whole wheat pastry, and 2/3 regular flour)
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (I leave this out because my husband doesn’t like nutmeg)

    Awesome recipe! I used one whole small pumpkin that I had baked in advance instead of canned pumpkin, and I also added some walnuts to this recipe. My family loved tbem!
