  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 gala apple (peeled, cored, and chopped)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Use vegetable shortening to grease and flour a 10-inch fluted tube pan.

    Yes, I followed recipe and I agree with Sharon. It baked up ( toothpick came out clean) . I brought it over to my daughter’s. Its texture was strange..true. As if not cooked all the way. So strange. But it tasted fine. Looked kinda terrible. I think it needed baking soda or something. The taste was good, but looked not thoroughly cooked... that’s why a 2⭐️

    Really bad texture. Should this have baking soda or baking powder? Smells good, but waste of all ingredients used.
