Here's yet another delicious reason to keep store-bought puff pastry in your freezer. Rather than making a traditional yeast dough from scratch, a process that takes several hours or more, these calzones can be prepared, start to finish, in less than an hour. They are filled with a blend of cheeses (use your own favorite varieties) and a bit of diced pancetta. Serve them hot, with marinara sauce, if desired.

  • 50 grams bacon (pancetta, diced)
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
