  • 600 grams boiled potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 80 grams cheese (grated raclette)
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 25 grams butter

Directions

  1. Reduce potatoes to puree by passing through a sieve.
  2. Add the egg and grated cheese.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.
  4. Form potato patties using a circular form, you get a more regular shape.
  5. Melt the butter in a skillet, brown the patties over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, turn gently and cook on the other side.

I like to serve these with steak or chicken dinner instead of baked potatoes. They are quick to throw together. They are delicious and you can bet that there won't be leftovers.
