Directions
- Combine ¼ cup warmed milk, yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar in a small bowl. Let stand for 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture foams.
- Attach dough hook to KitchenAid® Stand Mixer. Add remaining sugar, flour and butter to mixer bowl. Turn to speed 2 and add yeast mixture, remaining milk, eggs, potatoes and salt. Mix for 5 minutes or until dough forms a ball on hook and cleans sides of bowl.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease a baking tray or line with parchment paper. Punch dough down and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a slightly flattened ball. Place on prepared tray. Brush with extra milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let rise 30 minutes or until rolls have doubled in size.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned. Remove from baking tray and cool 10 minutes on wire rack. Serve warm.
