Coming from Poland, the home country of potatoes and potato pancace, I had to modify the recipe just a bit to achieve, what's considered - a traditional taste.
.
I used 3 large potatoes, 3 heapping table spoons of white flour, 1/2 of large onion, 2 whole eggs (yoke & white), 1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric to keep the color yellow, salt and pepper to taste. Instead of olive oil I used avocado oil which cooks much better in higher temperature. Also, to save my hands, I used food porcessor. When frying on a pan, I measured 2 heaping table spoons for each pancace. This recipe gave me about 15 pancaces - enough to feed me for upcoming days.

they turned out amazing as long as the recipe is followed and the right amount of ingredients are used.

It was very easy to make and a great addition to my brunch. If you like potatoes as a part of your meal, I would definitely recommend this recipe!

Delicious! but I think I made them too big and should have cooked longer. They didnt hold together as well as I thought they would..

For me, they weren't amazing! i was expecting something more dramatic...then again, maybe i just didnt make it right. i wont make potato pancakes again. I'll just keep it as hash browns.

Substituted olive oil for coconut oil, still came out really tasty. First time making potato pancakes. Thank you.

THis is a Jewish dish called latkes. We do not suggest coconut oil.Canola would be better.Recently made it and it was excellent,
