- In the bowl of the mixer (or food processor) grind a clove of garlic, basil leaves, salt, and extra virgin olive oil until well combined.
- Mash the potatoes with a fork and season them with garlic and basil mixture and a pinch of pepper. Mix well until they are a little softer, like a very thick puree.
- Form small balls with the mixture of the puree. Place anchovies on top and drizzle with a little olive oil.
