  • cross rib roast (Boneless shoulder, or bottom round)
  • onions (2 lg.)
  • 1 beef bouillon
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 ounces mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons fat

Directions

  1. Add onions, bouillon and rest of ingredients.
  2. Simmer pot roast 2 1/2-3 hours.
  3. Stew 1 1/2-2 hours.
  4. Add 4 ounces mushrooms.
