Description

Pan-cooked chicken infused with the flavors of lemon, mint, and mustard. Requiring only one pan for cooking, this dish is simple yet tasteful. Serve alongside potatoes, french fries, or rice.

Ingredients

olive oil (to taste)
1/2 onions
2 garlic cloves
mint sprigs
salt (to taste)
1 chicken (broken into small pieces)
1 teaspoon paprika
1 lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon mustard

Directions

1In a saucepan, heat the olive oil, and add chopped onion, chopped garlic, and mint sprigs.
2When the onions are brown, add the chicken pieces, and cook for 3 or 4 minutes, until the chicken begins to color.
3Season with salt, paprika, and lemon juice.
4Cover the pan and cook for 10 to 12 minutes. At that point, add sugar and mustard. Mix the chicken in the sauce, and cover the pan again. Simmer on low heat for more 3 or 4 minutes.
