  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 Tbsp. green bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 oz. pimento (drained and diced)
  • 3 oz. mushrooms (drained)
  • 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Directions

    1. In large heavy saucepan, melt butter; blend in flour, whisk in milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in vegetables and seasonings; gently stir in pork and warm through, stirring gently.
    2. Serve over biscuits, if desired.
