Ingredients

  • 60 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 500 grams pork ribs (1 lb 2 oz American-style, cut into individual ribs)
  • 500 grams pork belly (1 lb 2 oz skinless boneless, cut into 4 cm, 1½ inch pieces)

  • 250 milliliters boiling water
  • 4 centimeters horseradish (piece, peeled and cut into thirds)
  • 1 japanese eggplants (aubergine, cut into 3 cm, 1¼ inch slices on the diagonal)
  • 200 grams green beans (or snake, sitaw, trimmed, tied into knots if desired)
  • 2 teaspoons salt (flakes)
