I made this with some modifications. Cooking instructions forthe pork belly was very useful! I would have added oil so I am glad I read the recipe. The pork belly pieces turned out crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. For the glaze I used only soy sauce (instead of that other kind), honey, about a teaspoon of fresh grated ginger root, about 1/2 teaspoon of fresh cracked black pepper, and I sprinkled white and black sesame seeds over the top just before serving. I made a fresh cabbage salad with thousand dressing and slice fresh strawberries to lighten it up. It was a hit! We love pork belly at our house and I am always looking for recipes to try something new and exciting and this one is so quick and easy! Next time I will plan to add some fresh squeezed orange juice and some orange zest after the sauce is reduced, and serving slices of orange with it. I will also look for a good Chardonnay to pair ;)
