Description
Pacharán is a sloe-flavored liqueur commonly drunk in areas of Spain. This recipe for Plum and Pacharan Sorbet combines the sloe-flavored liqueur with fresh plums and honey for a beautifully flavored sorbet that perfectly balances sweet and sour. Halve or dice the plums beforehand and freeze overnight. The sorbet is easily brought together in a blender where it is blended until smooth and then frozen until firm. Low in calories, this Plum and Pacharan Sorbet is a yummy frozen treat you can feel good about eating.
Ingredients
- 1 kg plums
- 20 grams honey
- 40 grams liqueur (Pacharan)
Directions
- Halve the plums and remove the seed. Place in a container and freeze overnight.
- The next day, add the plums, honey, and liqueur to a food processor and blend until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides with a spatula to make sure everything gets blended.
- Transfer the mixture to a metal container and freeze until firm.
