Pizza with Golden Raisins, Mozzarella and Pine Nuts


1 1/2 cups unbleached flour
1/2 teaspoon yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm water
2 cloves garlic
12 ounces tomatoes (whole, drained)
1 teaspoon fresh oregano
6 fresh basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (dried)
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 ounces fresh mozzarella (sliced 1/4 inch thick)
1/4 cup golden raisins
2 tablespoons pinenuts


1Combine flour, yeast and salt in medium mixing bowl. Whisk to combine. Stir in water and mix until combined. Knead dough on floured surface 1 minute. Return to bowl and let rise, covered 2-3 hours.
2Place garlic in blender and pulse on setting 3 (chop), 3-4 times. Add remaining sauce ingredients and pulse on setting 3 (chop) 4-5 times.
3Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
4On generously floured surface, shape dough into 10-12 inch disk. Place dough on baking pan sprinkled with cornmeal. Top dough with 1 cup sauce, fresh mozzarella, raisins and pine nuts. Bake 10-12 minutes until crust is brown and toppings are cheese is melted.
