- Microwave the water in a microwave-safe bowl in 30 second increments until water is warm to the touch. Sprinkle in the active dry yeast and sugar. Let yeast activate for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the yeast mixture to stand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix on medium-low speed until the dough forms a ball. If dough seems dry and is not coming together, add 1 tablespoon of water and mix until a ball has formed.
- Knead dough on medium speed until it is smooth and elastic, about 6 minutes. (Pro Tip: If kneading the dough by hand, increase kneading time to about 8 minutes.)

It was really good! (We had to try the yeast four times because our dry yeast is out of of date, but that was our fault!) Definitely a family favourite; have decided to make it every weekend!
