Used sugar free jello and fat free cool whip to adapt for diabetic diet. Worked fairly well.

Yuck. It’s watery and gross. My mom made year after year when I was a kid it was soooo good. This version is just gross.. I’d set the jello first, mix in cool whip, add marshmallows, nuts and fruit. Skip the cottage cheese. Yuck. That’s just someone trying to make a yummy recipe more healthy. Some recipes- like this one- are supposed to sweet, not healthy or “good for u”.

Our family calls this dream salad. It's great with lime or cherry jello as well!

Good. Kids freaked when they knew cottage cheese was in it. Is a family favorite from when I was a kid.

Great! I didn’t have Cool Whip or cottage cheese so I substituted The Cool Whip with homemade whipping cream, and the cottage cheese with cream cheese. It turned out phenomenal either way.

I had eaten this in a restaurant and loved it. I only make 1/2 of the recipe as I am the only one that likes it in my house. Plan to to make it for the next church dinner.

It was very delicious and very easy to make, I added marshmallows and reduced the amount of ingredients used and still had a great product, I will definitely be recommending this recipe with friends. thank you for sharing
