Ingredients

150 milliliters water (warm)
baking soda
500 grams flour
salt
70 grams lard

Directions

1Place the flour in a bowl with a pinch of baking soda, lard, water, and a pinch of salt. Knead well.
2Place the dough on a floured work surface and knead until the dough is compact.
3Return the dough to the bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
4Divide the dough into 4 pieces and roll out each piece with the rolling pin to a round sheet approximately 20 to 25 centimeters in diameter.
5Heat a nonstick pan and cook each flatbread for a few minutes on each side on high heat. While the flatbread is cooking, use a fork to make holes in it and pop any bubbles.
