Our PHILADELPHIA New York Cheesecake is a classic for a reason! Easy to make and lovely to look at, it's a guaranteed win in the dessert category.

Ingredients

  • 20 OREO® Cookies (finely crushed, about 2-1/4 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons butter (or margarine, melted)
  • 5 packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese (8 oz. each, softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup Knudsen Sour Cream (or BREAKSTONE'S)
  • 4 eggs
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325ºF.
  2. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Mix crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla with mixer until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust.
  4. Bake 40 min. or until center is almost set. Cool completely. Refrigerate 4 hours. Top with pie filling. Use foil handles to lift cheesecake from pan before cutting to serve.

I about cried when this was gone. This was my first time making cheesecake and it was delicious! I will definitely be making it again.

I’ve been making this cheesecake for over 25 years. It’s the best. One of the few cheesecake recipes that calls for 5 packages of cream cheese. And it really does make a difference. Never a complaint with this recipe. Enjoy!

I've made this twice before lost recipe, tried others never as good as this , the only recipe using 5 packages of cream cheese, the absolute best!!!
