I prepared this as an alternative to a filet. Ribeye has excellent flavor and the cuts were good. Turned out great and the butter made it even better.

I have an iron skillet lid for my iron skillet so I cooked mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, and tomatoes, and added them to the steak and covered for the last five minutes.

Pretty good. Couldn’t find duck fat, so used peanut oil as the site suggested. Could use more flavor.

Could have left the cast iron in the oven a little longer after oven was done preheating but nothing a little longer sear didn’t fix! Delicious!!

This recipe is soooo incredibly easy and absolutely delicious! My husband, who is not a big steak fan, enjoyed it, too. I did add onion and garlic powder as well as a little bit of seasoning salt. Needless to say, I will definitely make it again!

Recipe was on point! I like my steak well done so I had to keep it in the oven 10 more minutes than directed. Otherwise, the recipe made my steak so tender and juicy it was delicious!
