It was delicious, had my in-laws over lunch and this was definitely a hit everyone loved it. I didn’t blend the soup in a blender because I let my potatoes cook longer so they were the consistency we liked. I also doubled the flour and milk mixture, I also used evaporated milk instead of jug milk.

Not bad flavors but way too liquidy. Either add potatoes or reduce broth to 6 cups instead of 8. Or do both. I did not want to add more flour because I did not want a floury taste. I used an immersion blender. Ended up adding 3 more potatoes mashed and some garlic mashed potato flakes to get the consistency and taste right for me. I think I need to try other recipes.

Great flavor. Missed the 5 stars because I used the “hot” setting instead of the lowest setting as suggested. My soup came out gummy. I used the same blend tech blender pictured. Still a big hit.

This is soo good! I have made it a few times it is also great with cubed ham. Next time I make it I will try it without the cream added to lighten it up a bit, hopefully it will be just as good.

Pretty good. Substituted beef broth because I had some on hand. And I didn’t use the flour because I realized I didn’t have any. But quite flavorful. Kids like it. Add a little bread and Sauvignon Blanc, and you have a full dinner.

I used more potatoes than called for and added cheese to the soup as it cooked to help thicken it a bit. This might be the best potato soup I’ve ever had!

Great flavor. Used an immersion blender instead of a blender and it worked really well. I added sauteed spinach (cooked with the other veggies) and it wasn't noticeable.
