Loved it, I just added a touch of Chinese ginger to it. Sprinkle the cinnamon, ginger & nutmeg on the bottom before I added the apples. Smells amazingly good. Yum!

Great recipe. Only thing I️ did differently was I️ squeezed a ruby red grapefruit all over my apples bc I️ didn’t have lemons and I️ added two extra tablespoons of flour as my apples were more watery from the liquid from the grapefruit. I️ also baked for 20 minutes then put a Tincrust cover on for the last 20 minutes. Turned out great! I️ was worried the bottom would be too soggy as another poster mentioned but it turned out fine.

Great recipe however I suggest cooking the mixture a little bit before adding it to the crust and baking. Because the apples release water when baking I found that the bottom of the pie got a bit soggy. So cooking it a bit before baking will take care of that problem. This problem didn’t take away from the amazing taste though! Once again, amazing recipe!
