Description

Quick and easy chicken recipe using pepper powder.Used as a side dish for rice and bread.

  • 0.5 kilograms boneless chicken
  • pepper (powder - 2 Tsp)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 200 grams shallots
  • salt (to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/4 cup water

    Directions

    1. Marinate Chicken with ginger-garlic paste,1 Tsp of pepper powder,1/4 tsp turmeric powder,1 Tsp coriander powder,2 Tsp lemon juice and salt.Keep aside for 15 minutes.
    2. Cook for 10-15 minutes with 1/4 cup of water in a pan
    3. Take another pan,fry small onions and add the cooked chicken pieces.Add 1 Tsp of pepper powder and fry the chicken pieces along with shallots.
    4. When the colour turns brown,turn off the stove and transfer it to a serving bowl.Garnish with curry leaves or cilantro/mint.
    5. Serve hot with any kind of rice or flat breads like chapathi,naan etc.
