This Spanish dish can be made in just 35 minutes. The onions and garlic bring a savory flavor to the free-range chicken. After the chicken is fried it adds a golden brown color to the dish. The Pedro Ximenez wine adds and sweet flavor with an aromatic smell. This is a great dish to serve at a Christmas Party.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 kilograms free range chicken
  • cooking oil
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove (chopped)
  • 250 milliliters wine (Pedro Ximenez, may be substituted with sweet port wine)

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, fry the chicken in some oil.
  2. Once golden brown, remove the chicken from the stove and set aside. Cook the onion and garlic in that same oil over low heat.
  3. Add the chicken and the Pedro Ximenez wine.
  4. Let the liquids boil down for about 10 minutes and serve.

This unique chicken recipe had all the things that I craved the most. Tender chicken, bold flavors, and a touch of spice that was not overpowering. I could definitely make this recipe again and would give it 5 stars.
