Brownies they way they used to be made. Your mouth will water and your stomach growl once you smell them baking. Featuring the nutty crunch of pecans, these chocolate morsels will tickle your senses with rich flavor and sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 100 grams softened butter
  • 225 grams powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 60 grams flour
  • salt
  • 100 grams pecan (crushed)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 355 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Melt the chocolate, and let cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar. Stir in the eggs one by one and then add the vanilla extract, flour, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Add the cold chocolate and pecans.
  5. Mix gently.
  6. Pour into a flexible mold (otherwise butter and flour a baking pan) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Unmold warm, cool on a baking rack.
  8. Cut into squares.

These are very moist brownies. The chocolate that you choose will definitely make or break the flavor, so don't go cheap there. Also, they are just as delicious with chopped almonds as they are with pecans.
