  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 4 pears (cored and thinly sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons butter (cold, chopped)
  • vanilla ice cream (to serve)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease 2 baking pans. Roll out pie crusts on floured surface to 12-inch rounds. Cut the crusts into four 6-inch rounds. Place on prepared pans.
  2. Sprinkle 1 tbsp sugar over each crust. Arrange pear slices in an overlapping circle on each crust. Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar and sprinkle over pears. Dot with butter.
  3. Bake for 10-15 mins, until golden. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
