Ingredients

  • 15 ounces chick peas (or garbanzos, rinsed and drained)
  • 1/2 cup skippi natur creami peanut butter spread
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 2 cups celery (sticks)
  • 2 whole wheat pita bread (6-in, cut into 8 wedges and toasted)

Directions

  1. Process all ingredients until smooth in blender or food processor. Garnish, if desired, with paprika and thinly sliced green onions. Serve with carrots, celery and pita chips.
