Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 4 teaspoons Thai fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 pound beef (pork, chicken)
  • peanut sauce (see recipe)

Directions

  2. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Cut the meat or pieces of seafood into 2-1/2 inch long by 1 inch wide strips.
  4. Add the strips of meat or pieces of seafood, toss well, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes before grilling or boiling.
  5. Place on tips of skewers and grill or broil, 1 minute each side.
