Description

How could you not fall in love with a dessert named after Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova? Top it with Greek yogurt and a red berry fruit topping and this could be the dessert you’ve been waiting for your entire life. There are only six ingredients in this crowd-pleaser, but the real surprise is that it only has 250 calories per serving. For a dessert, that is almost unheard of! So let the tastes twirl and dance around in your mouth!

Ingredients

4 egg whites
220 grams sugar
1 tablespoon corn starch
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 Greek yogurts
fruit (to taste)

Directions

1Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
2Whip the egg whites, but not too much.
3Gradually, add the sugar, and beat until the whites are firm enough to form the pavlova.
4Add the sifted cornflour, and vinegar, and mix well.
5Line a baking tray with parchment paper, and draw a not very wide circle in it. Don't make it really large, to get a taller dessert.
6Place the egg whites in this circle, and mold with a spatula so the cake gets round and high.
7Put in the oven, reducing the heat to 120 C, and bake for about 1 hour.
8After this time, turn the oven off, but leave the pavlova inside until it cools completely.
9Garnish with Greek yogurt beaten until very creamy, and red fruits.
