Ready in just a little over a half an hour, these Patatas Bravas make the perfect side dish for your dinner tonight. Sauteed until tender, the potatoes are covered in a spicy garlic and tomato sauce flavored with paprika. Use spicy paprika to obtain the intended spice. However, if you like your food a little more on the spicy side, you can add cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to increase the heat.

Ingredients

  • 400 grams crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika (spicy)
  • 2 potatoes (chopped)
  • olive oil

Directions

  1. Saute the garlic in the olive oil. Add the tomatoes and paprika and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, until thickened.
  2. Saute the potatoes in olive oil until tender. Drizzle with sauce and serve.
