  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 200 grams half and half
  • 400 grams portabella mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon bouillon
  • 2 tablespoons butter

    Directions

    1. Heat a tbsp. of olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Wait one minute and then saute the onion and garlic, cook for 3 minutes.
    2. Add the sliced mushrooms.
    3. Lower the heat to low and cover the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, allowing the mushrooms to release their juices.

    I modified it with some truffle oil as I felt it was lacking in some flavour. Other then that fresh Parmesan and green onions on top made it quite delicious. Have a fair bit of leftovers for some pasta bake to put in the freezer for another day
