Description

Only five ingredients and 25 minutes are needed to prepare this super simple yet satisfying meal. You can use any short tubular pasta to cradle the sauce, which takes store-bought (or your own prepared) tomato sauce and gives it a spicy kick with the additon of diced dried chorizo and a pinch of dried oregano. The "au gratin" in the recipe name refers to the grated parmesan cheese that's sprinkled--and then melts--over the top.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams macaroni
  • 150 grams chorizo
  • 15 ounces tomato sauce
  • dried oregano
  • parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. 1Cook the pasta according to package directions. Once cooked, drain the water and set aside.
  2. 2Chop the chorizo and fry a few minutes in a dry skillet. Once cooked, add the tomato sauce and mix well
  3. 3Season with a pinch of dried oregano. Add the pasta and mix well.
  4. 4Top with Parmesan cheese.
