  • 1 sheet pastry dough (puff)
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • prosciutto (Parma, sliced finely, may substitute any prosciutto)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190C.
  2. Roll out the sheet of puff pastry dough and sprinkle with a generous amount of grated parmesan cheese.
  3. Use a round cookie cutter to cut disks out of the dough.
  4. Place the disks on a wax paper lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until golden.
  6. While the crackers are still hot, add a slice of prosciutto shaped into a rose.
  7. Serve hot.

These are so easy and fast to make if you buy the pastry dough instead of making it. Adding a little thin slice of Parmesan with the prosciutto on top would make a nice presentation instead of just a sprinkle of the cheese.
