  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk (**If you don't have mix 1 cup of milk with 1 tbsp of vinegar then measure out 2/3 cup for the buttermilk to make your own**)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (I used Ms Buttersworth but original recipe calls for Pure Maple Syrup)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 cup sprinkles (or other toppings, chocolate chips, fruit, other chips, sausage)
